Nukes, no one should have them, in my opinion. However, a country should not be forced to follow the laws of another country, BUT, that country needs to remain humane at the very least to it's citizens and respect the rights and citizens of other countries as well.

Iran, IMHO, has every right as Pakistan, India, Korea, US, UK etc to have access to nuclear technology and the right to improve conditions for their country, if installing nuclear power provides this, then so be it.

On the other hand, no country has the RIGHT (including the UK, US and IRAN) to wipe another country 'off the map' a nuclear war would destroy all of God's creations, including the innocent and we cannot presume to know what God wants, but would he want more blood spilled - in HIS name?!?

The 'West' has many citizens that their government does not speak for, and for them I can say - we are not 'afraid' of Iran, but as Iran does not want US policy forced upon them, nor does the West want (like ex-US Prez Bush - who has the blood of millions on his hands) nukes in the hands of those that would happily USE them - it doesn't behoove anyone in the west or the east to create more war. No, those people of the west want peace and OUT of the Middle East.

Those in the 'west' such as myself, have not approved of US policy overseas. We do our best to VOTE out those that want more blood spilled. We do not want 'fascism' cloaked in 'democracy' - the problem is, our voices are not heard in the East, as the East's voice is not heard in western media. It must be searched for diligently by those that want truth.

You guys talk out of your asses. I was in Jerusalem during the Gaza offensive. The Arabs were all playing nice with the Israeli's. It was so nice and peaceful. Good thing I wasn't in Judea having my ass kicked by some Israeli soldier. No way a backward camel riding army (even with Allah's help) can defeat a modern army. Please explain what the arabs won in either the last two wars against Israel, or any war against Israel. The only thing that arabs can do is send their own children to die on their behalf. Pathetic. If allah really exists then why have the arabs lost every war against Israel? Buddies, you are all praying to the wrong gods. Try buddhism, it's a very nice and loving religion.

If there was an unbiased agnostic research team that took all religious books from all religions in this world and did extensive research (cross-comparison) and also took note at which year the scriptures were written (a man writing about equal rights for women during the stone age is much more to be credited than a man demanding the same in the seventeenth century, right?), then I think it would be possible to declare ONCE AND FOR ALL which religion is more superior (in meeting terms with modern human and animal rights and eco-protection) than the others.

Of course, such research is forbidden because the answer would cause global turmoil since people of the non-superior religion would then refuse to believe that they belonged to the wrong faith.

first of all Islam is NOT a culture. In Islam, women are given full rights. They were granted these long before any of the Western world did. Just because some "Islamic" (emphasis on quotation marks)countries deny women their rights doesn't mean that it's a part of Islam. A "muslim" may be the worst person on Earth although Islam may be the best religion. The Taliban and governments like Iran abuse femles in the name of Islam although Islam never sanctioned it.

(And just a note: Jihad simply means struggle. If I struggle to keep up with my classes and lessons and tests, then I am doing Jihad and earning Reward. The definition of holy war was never ascribed to this word until quite recently. The crusades were holy wars but Jihad can be an internal conflict not to steal that expensive something your friend has.)
